DESCRIPTION Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Director of School Finance to provide fiscal and reporting support, monitoring, and assistance in maintaining district’s financial health indicators and directing corrective action plans; serves as a resource to school districts to analyze and monitor legislative changes, provide revenue and expenditure forecast support, leading and coordinating fiscal and technical support to school districts, provide financial information, guidance, and recommendations to the Superintendent, Governing Boards, school districts and/or other regulatory agencies. PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state approved charter and private schools in Washington. Serving over 39% of Washington’s K-12 public school students, our agency provides critical services designed to ensure that our students are ready to enter school, achieve at high levels in the K-12 system, and succeed in postsecondary endeavors.
