Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

The role of the Maintenance Mechanic is to provide the necessary skill sets required to perform the maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the Building, Systems, and Equipment under the direction of the Facility and Operations Managers. This is a 3rd shift opening with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule.

Areas of responsibilities may include:

Manufacturing Process Equipment
Tank Farm Operations, Reporting, Maintenance, and Repair
Bulk Fluid Totes & Dispensing Equipment
Compressed Bottle Gas Storage & Distribution Systems
Compressed Natural Gas Facility
Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers
Oil Mist Collectors

Cold/Hot Thermal Units
Temperature Control
Pressure Control
Dew Point Control
Provide and Maintain Spare & Replacement Parts Inventories
Production Process Central Exhaust Systems
Class 7 Clean Room

Mechanical Systems Diagnosis & Repair
Experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, hydraulics
Some experience with controller programs, to include Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and Siemens
Audio Visual systems and camera back ground.

HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilating, Air conditioning and Refrigeration)

Scavenge Exhaust Systems
Preventative Maintenance (Scheduled maintenance to prevent break down)
Predictive Maintenance (Use of equipment or tests to predict when maintenance will be needed)

Power Systems
Normal power to first disconnect
Emergency power systems
Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems

Building Systems
Building Automation Systems
Building Monitoring systems
Building Utility & Piping Systems

Help Desk Immediate Work Orders > 24 hrs
PM Completion
Environmental PM Completion & Reporting
PM Repair Completion
Perform General Housekeeping in Common Work Areas

Personnel Management
Maintain Current Fork truck & Aerial Lift Operators License
Attend Scheduled Training

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Completion of an applicable technical training program, desirable.
Minimum of one year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, and basic plumbing and electrical.
Excellent communication skills in English - both oral and written.
Ability to comply with both Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

PHYSICAL WORK ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including:
Lifting a minimum of 80 lbs.
Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights.
Climbing a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
