Registered Nuse Operating Room- OR Registered Nurse Hospital Washington DC NW MUST: Experienced Registered Nurse - Operating Room ACLS BLS PALS Registered Nurse DC Lic. OR Experience - Required: 3 Years Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program - Required BSN - Highly desired DUTIES: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure.
