The commercial driver is responsible for the loading, transporting, and delivery of fuel to clients within a designated region. Core Responsibilities Loading of Fuel Retrieve dispatch instructions Ensure authorization for loading at all terminals Validate correct supplier when initiating the load sequence Validate correct brand and loading volume selection prior to loading Initiate actual loading Retrieve bill of lading and verify accuracy prior to departure Transportation of Fuel Observe all speed limits and DOT rules Refrain from texting and smoking during travel Demonstrate patience and personal control during transportation process Delivery of Fuel Verify location by address prior to initiating delivery process Identify presence at the facility Verify tank content volume and calculate delivery gallons Load tank Verify tank volume and validate delivery volume Take immediate action on any problems that occur such as hose rupture, flash fire, or spill. Deliver bill of lading and all paperwork to MOC office at the end of the day Requirements High school diploma or GED Must be able to pass a criminal background check, DOT drug screen, DOT employment verification, 7 year MVR and DOT physical Looking for someone with HAZMAT and Tank license endorsements
