About the Role
As the Global Configuration Lead/Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring the Workday system to support break/fix and enhancement needs of the business for the Compensation (Core and Advanced) & Payroll SKU's globally for 32 countries.
Your Team
You will not have any direct reports, but will work with a global team of approximately 10
What You Will Do
- Assist in the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of new features and functionalities within Workday
- Configure, test, validate and implement changes in Workday
- Assist in testing of integrations, security, annual events
- Maintain master data values in Workday for the Compensation (Core and Advanced) & Payroll SKU's
- Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues
- Review information to ensure data integrity; edit input documents for accuracy and monitor output for system problems
- Be the key Subject Matter Expert (SME) to determine the right technology solution to meet strategic business initiatives
- Provide operational and project support to Lead Analysts
What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, with a preferred concentration in Business, Technology Services, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with Workday Human Capital Management, or other HR Systems, preferably in multiple areas
- A strong understanding of Compensation & Payroll process requirements
- Be willing to obtain and maintain Workday certification in their specified SKU, if not already certified
- Ability to work in a global matrixed organization and communicate at all levels
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including how to use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions necessary to conduct ad-hoc data audits
What is Nice to Have
- 3+ years of practical Workday Administration experience
- Workday certifications
- Compensation and/or Payroll certifications
- Working knowledge of all Workday systems, including other areas not specific to this role (e.g. Core HCM, Talent Management, Absence, Time Tracking, etc.)
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic
- Be willing to work in an office in Northridge California, or US Home office (remote)
