As a Calibration Maintenance Tech, you will be trusted to support engineers in the design, modification, and improvement of products/processes within the North Manufacturing facility at Fort Worth, Texas. (US).
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Perform calibrations on a variety of M&TE to include making adjustments, checks, intercomparison, modification and replacements as needed.
- Identify M&TE out of tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.
- Identifying and recommending improvements/preventive actions, inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and systems.
- Ability to write and implement SOP's and PM procedures.
- Ability to handle increasingly complex assignments.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements tasks for which they are not principally used.
- Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration.
- Performs a variety of other duties in the electronic, electrical, mechanical and/or electromechanical areas.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: Monday through Friday - 6:30am to 3:00pm
- Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school, formal technical training, or military (PMEL) training.
- Certification (ASQ Certified Calibration Technician)
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience
