We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Maintenance Lead, supporting our Maintenance Team you will be responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of the facilities at Fort Worth, Texas US. (Aspex)

In this role, a typical day will include:



  • Provides day to day maintenance coordination for maintenance technicians involved in craft specialties (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation and Fabrication).




  • Provide training, work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more of the skilled trades.




  • Leads Tier I meetings and be the department representative to insure maintenance support is provided to execute daily production schedule and assesses escalation of maintenance issues.




  • Responsible for ensuring equipment reliability by perfroming Job Plan assessments and equipment critical spare parts assessments.




  • Provide proper delegation, reconcialiation and guidance of executing department PM's and to review for GDP, completeness and execution assessment.




  • Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and to represent the shift in HSE Meetings and assigned actions.




  • Understand, generate, and execute Engineering Change Order (ECO), Preventative Maintenance Change Request (PMCR) and Equipment Master Record Form.




  • Ensures operation risk reduction by providing bimonthly updates of PM, CM, and equipment issues to maintenance manager.




  • Responsible for ensuring shop and satellite cages areas are in compliance to 5's and verifies the team is equipped with appropriate equipment to perform job tasks.




  • Leads manufacturing non-conformance and complaint investigations and reports summary of findings to manager and MNC team.




  • In addition, heavily involved with CAPA initiation.




  • Ensures group adheres to Central Stores guidelines when ordering and stocking equipment spare parts via WESCO programs and services.




  • Responsible for daily shift summary generation and distribution.



WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 4 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Work hours: 6pm to 6am, 4 days on shift/4 days off shift
  • Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
