As a Molding Maintenance Tech II at Houston, Texas, US, you will perform a role that is critical to Molding Production. In this role, a typical day will include: Growing and developing a strong understanding of all toolroom tools and machines and their capabilities Completing full PM on all molds and machinery Completing mold changeovers at press/toolroom Able to PM and assemble Silicone Mold, Mixer and Barrel Able to properly use Mics and other precision machinist tools Reading drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals Properly pulling and PM valve stems (controllers) Utilizing basic knowledge of mold hydraulic systems and repair/maintenance of hydraulic cylinders Working with and training Contract Labor Maintaining mold common/wear/disposable parts inventory WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: High School Diploma or equivalent The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English 2 Years of Relevant Experience Work hours: 1^st shift (10 hours): Monday - Thursday, 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM Travel Requirements: 0 - 10% Relocation Assistance: None Sponsorship Available: No
