As a Supervisor supporting the Manufacturing Production Team, you will be trusted to lead an assembly and/or packaging team of line coordinators, production specialists and operators to manufacture medical devices at Houston, Texas, US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe working environment that aligns with applicable standards and ensure that associates are working safely.
  • Implement and lead all aspects of programs that encourage adherence to company and department HSE standards and priorities.
  • Continuously monitor work areas for good safety and housekeeping practices; identify, resolve, and report safety hazards.
  • Operate in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet commitments within Alcon's standards (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Conduct)
  • Initiate and be responsible for implementation of systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that products and services meet regulatory and quality standards.
  • Monitor processes, identify problems, and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Critically review operations for ways to improve regulatory compliance, product quality and/or productivity.
  • Track, evaluate and report on key quality performance indicators, as well as corrective and preventive actions.
  • Troubleshoot problems regarding product quality and equipment
  • Build a positive work environment that engages associates and enables and rewards strong performance.
  • Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all associates, in accordance with company policies & procedures, as well as employment law.
  • Develop team goals that align with Department's annual objectives. Encourages growth of and contributions by team members.
  • Ensure regular communication of Company and Department objectives to all team members.
  • Lead by example, encouraging all associates to act in accordance with what we value and behaviors.
  • Optimizes and continuously improves the manufacturing process.



Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 1 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
  • Work hours: Monday - Thursday: 3:30PM- 2:30AM
  • Travel Requirements: 0-10%
