We are currently looking for an Environmental Scientist / Industrial Hygienist, to join our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene (BSI) Practice in the Reston, VA/ Washington DC area. Responsibilities will include: Support Due Diligence tasks including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Through site inspections and site contact interviews, identify environmental conditions requiring further investigation Assist with reports and scopes for environmental due diligence assessments Maintain regular communication with existing Client base. Provide technical support to all TRC Practices as needed. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Environmental related field (Environmental Science, Geology, Biology) The position requires 1-3 years of prior building sciences and industrial hygiene experience, with a strong emphasis on the commercial and industrial sectors. Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate should have their Bachelor's degree in a science discipline, industrial hygiene, public health or environmental engineering and preferably one or more of the following certifications: AHERA Certified Building Inspector, Management Planner, and Project Designer. USEPA Lead Inspector/Assessor. ACAC Certified Microbial Consultant, Certified Microbial Investigator, and/or Certified Indoor Environmentalist.
