Daikin Applied is now hiring for an Engineering Co-op in Plymouth, MN!

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our dynamic Engineering team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of engineering within a leading organization. Location: Plymouth, MN in office 5 days per week

Timeline: This Co-op opportunity is for May - December 2025

Essential Responsibilities:



  • You will select a relevant Engineering project proposal to own and influence
  • Project proposals may include but not be limited to the following


    • Research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the design or application
    • Design/test products or systems such as instruments, controls, fan coil, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems
    • Work with fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Incoming Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Successfully completed Thermodynamics I, and Fluid Mechanics
  • GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, preferred 3.5 or better
  • Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office
