What this job involves -

Direct and support the daily operations respective area(s) ensuring that a safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of services is provided to the client and building occupants. Provide direct support to field operations and are responsible for performance metric tracking and reporting. Work closely with additional Operations Manager to ensure consistency across regions and utilize specialized talents/skills to streamline projects/processes. Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of refrigeration technicians. Experience managing Union employees, a plus.

Your day to day:
OperationsCommunicate allowner / landlordprocesses to ensure full understanding by all engineers and contractors who perform work on the building's infrastructure and functions.
Identify and ensure execution of updates and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices.
Identify safety hazards, working closely with EH&S and account management team to incorporate the remediation of hazards, ensuring a safe environment for staff.
Refrigerant purchases & tracking

ReportingResponsible for information gathering for business reporting purposes.
Tracking SLA performance
Track work orders in Corrigo
Manage NTE in work orders
Manage Budget/Forecast

People ManagementOversee the operation, staffing, performance and development of the refrigeration technical team and resources, including performance reviews, and compliance with policies,proceduresand training.
Know and manage Union guidelines and employees.

OtherAny and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Education/trainingHS diploma or equivalent

Years of relevant experienceSeven (7) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC *equipment repair, refrigeration, maintenance and overall system design and application 8+ y ears of experience

Skills and knowledgeProficient in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
Strong organizational and management skills
Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment
Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills; strong emphasis on customer service
Excellent business writing and verbal communications
Strong analytical ability
Detail oriented
Customer/client focuses and ability to accept and manage change

Certifications/LicensesCandidate must possess valid Driver's License.
Universal EPA certification.
