Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team in a key operational role. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and managing the HR function, ensuring alignment with the business strategy, and supporting the overall employee experience within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and oversee HR practices, programs, policies, and processes that align with the strategic direction of the operations.
  • Lead recruitment, talent development, compensation, and workforce planning activities to ensure the organization has a robust talent pipeline.
  • Manage succession planning, learning and development initiatives, and employee development programs to prepare employees for career advancement.
  • Execute strategies to improve organizational health and culture, including leading diversity & inclusion initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and advice to managers on various people matters across multiple functions and departments.
  • Propose and implement HR solutions and organizational changes based on an analysis of operational needs.
  • Partner with corporate HR teams to execute strategies that support business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and reports to leadership.
  • Advise management on employment-related legal issues and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws.
  • Oversee employee separations, conduct exit interviews, and analyze trends to inform leadership decisions.
  • Manage training programs on company policies and other HR-related issues.
  • Participate in budgeting processes and analyze relevant HR data.
  • Provide guidance on performance-related issues, conduct investigations, and manage the termination process if necessary.
  • Possess expertise in union recognition and avoidance training.
  • Lead or participate in special HR projects as required.


Qualifications:



  • A university degree or college diploma in a related discipline.
  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in management.
  • Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to build trusting professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates high initiative, action-oriented with strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • High ethical standards, discretion, and the ability to handle challenging situations confidentially and diplomatically.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel (including pivot tables, vlookup, and reporting), and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State legislation, including FLSA, NLRB, EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA.
