Our Building Engineering Services Group is hiring a Site Civil EIT to work in our Orlando, FL office.
Primary Responsibilities


  • Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentations
  • Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage
  • Perform routine engineering assignments requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures
  • Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
  • Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects
  • Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects
  • Assist the project team with project permitting submittal requirements with applicable jurisdictions
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Familiarity and demonstrated experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley Concept Station and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D, specialty civil platforms (e.g. Openflows)
  • Preference will be given to local candidates

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Proficientwith MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience withcivil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or AutodeskInfraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) asrequired
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
