Summary Operator/Technician highly qualified and responsible for operating and maintaining a 500 MW 2X1 Combined Cycle Power Plant. May serve in a lead role in certain functions where general mentorship and training of less experienced support personnel is needed. Performs such work in accordance with Company, regulatory and safety procedures. Responsibilities include: Responsible for controlling and monitoring all the equipment Maintaining and repairing of all power plant equipment Supervision/Contractor Oversite Water Quality Testing in Lab Experience in Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift Basic computer proficiency and be able to use data base applications. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1-year recent steam power plant experience (comparable process plant experience may be acceptable). Combined Cycle operator and maintenance experience. Combustion turbine operating experience Experience in performing in a team-based environment with shown leadership role experience. I&C Technician, machinist, or MIG/TIG/Stick Welder experience preferred
