The RHD Montgomery County Residentials Program is hiring Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-call Life Skills Professionals for locations in Norristown, Conshohocken, and Bryn Mawr! A Life Skills Professional provides support to individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental illness and are currently residing in our programs. As a Life Skills Professional, you will partner with clients, working towards goals and providing hands-on assistance to them as needed. How You Can Make a Real Impact:

Position Summary The Life Skills Professional is responsible for client support through direct interaction throughout shift; collaboratively and actively assisting and supporting the participants of the program in the development of Life/Recovery Support/Coping/Daily living skills. Facilitate and document psychotherapy groups, implementing the activities on the monthly calendar; promote and enhance the informed culture of the program and the establishment and attainment of goals identified in the individual Recovery Support Plan (RSP). Working conditions While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, lift, use hand to find, handle feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, listen, taste, and smell.
