Job Description Summary: This position has the responsibility of offering support to mechanics in diesel automotive repair shops by directly helping with repairs and maintenance related tasks. This role provides an excellent starting point for new mechanics to gain familiarity with repair and maintenance processes and best practices while working directly under the supervision of more experienced professionals. Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications +1 year of automotive maintenance/ mechanical experience Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment. Must have our own basic hand tools Proficient in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance Valid Driver's License (non CDL) The ability to operate a manual transmission Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience Cryogenics exposure/experience Hydraulic exposure/experience Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification preferred (Not Required) About Airgas Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products; one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products.
