Implementation Specialist I (Tech Central)

Job Summary

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and overseeing the activities related to the implementation of hardware IT products and services to customers including small to mid-size, multi-site locations.

What you will do



  • Serve as a primary point of contact for both internal and external customers during all phases of the implementation project to achieve defined success, while setting appropriate customer expectations.
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous implementation projects and ensure timely and effective customer service expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Track all correspondence and completed tasks to provide accurate record of account and project history.
  • Recognize and resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Professionally establish strong working relationships with other people and teams.
  • Recognize and provide input into process improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Must have:



  • Four or more years of related experience.
  • High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent ability to professionally understand and diffuse stressful situations
  • Experience with using standard office equipment, full Microsoft Office suite, CRM databases, remote access software, task management software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Professional appearance and presentation skills required
  • Intermediate level of technical knowledge, skills, and experience with installation and troubleshooting of IT networks and IT related products including but not limited to:

    • Hardware for desktops, laptops, tablets, servers
    • Current Windows operating systems
    • Switches, routers, firewalls, access points, security software
    • Peripherals, printers, scanners, displays, interface devices
    • Data backup systems, software, and media
    • Business productivity software, email, web browsers, security software
    • Miscellaneous devices, cabling, memory, storage, add-on components
    • Domain, user accounts, software accounts
    • Network connectivity, wireless access, data cabling
    • Healthcare related digital technologies, devices, and software preferred

Nice to have:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Project management experience and, or certifications (CAPM, PMP, Project+, etc.) preferred
  • Healthcare related digital technologies, devices, and software experience preferred


The posted range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
