As an Accessibility Analyst, your primary responsibility is to aid in the selection of accessible 3rd party products by evaluating them against WCAG 2.2 success criteria and performing user experience testing. You will communicate evaluation results to WGU stakeholders and provide vendors a suggested remediation plan. You will also evaluate WGU products and platforms. Your secondary responsibilities are to review internally and externally created course and assessment content, consult on challenging accessibility barriers, provide coaching for WGU staff and vendors, and assist with researching accessibility innovations and technologies. You will primarily engage with others in an online setting. Location: This position requires you to live in Utah and work at our headquarters: 4001 South 700 East Salt Lake City, UT 84107 with the ability to work a hybrid schedule in the office 3-4 days a week. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Evaluate 3rd party products for conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA in addition to user experience testing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and interpret HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and explain accessibility best practices Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Trusted Tester Certification Experience with vendor management and engagement LI-D&I The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
