Discover more about our company, our team, and our values by visiting us at Ansell. Ansell is looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team in Iselin, NJ! In this position you will play a vital role in IoT design, which at the basic level means familiarity with the interconnected relationships between the following systems: microcontrollers, embedded sensors and peripherals, cloud systems. The Embedded Firmware Engineer has a "system of systems" thinking, where they understand all individual pieces of each system, and the entire system altogether. Additionally, this engineer is proficient in reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting circuit boards, programming/scripting in multiple languages, soldering, understands basic networking and computing concepts, and understands the basic principles of RF/Wireless communication systems. In the hardware/firmware domain, the Embedded Firmware Engineer is comfortable using a wide range of MCUs from various manufacturers such as Espressif, Arduino, Renesas, Dialog, Infineon, Cypress, Nordic, TI, STM, etc. Comfortable programming in multiple IDEs, working with different RTOSs like FreeRTOS, and can integrate a wide variety of sensors and peripherals from both the hardware and firmware perspectives.
