Overview

The External Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager will be responsible for structuring customer deals with the best financing and insurance options available while ensuring compliance will all financial regulations. The F & I Manger will be customer facing and traveling with the sales team to explain and recommend financing options, extended warranties and aftermarket products.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.
  • Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Attain all financial services' goals and objectives while ensuring all organizational activities and operations comply with organizational guidelines as well local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions to ensure access to the best financing programs and competitive rates.
  • Seek new or alternative programs that benefit customers and encourage machine sales.
  • Coach and advise sales team on available financing options and programs to ensure effective promotion to customers.
  • Structures deals for maximum profitability, collect ability, and manage approval of offers that maximizing F&I PVR
  • Partner with customers to explain and recommend financing options, extended warranties, aftermarket products, and other related choices.
  • Secure competitive interest rates to encourage customers' purchases, process applications for financing to assist customers getting approved.
  • Accurately complete and properly filed paperwork to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with lending institutions to ensure customers have access to competitive rate program offers.
  • Identify interest rates and/or rebate programs that off benefit our customers and encourages purchases.
  • 50% to 75% travel is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required.
  • SC property and casualty insurance license required.
  • 5+ years of previous experience in auto financing, warranty programs, general finance or car sales required.
  • 2+ years of previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License with less than three moving violations in the past three years.
  • Strong business acumen, sales aptitude and self-directed.
  • Strong knowledge of financial compliance requirements and e financing, lending options, and industry regulations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to help customers find a good deal that fits their financial situation.
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products.

Working Conditions:

  • The physical environment requires the employee to travel to client sites as work in climate and non-climate-controlled environment throughout the year.
  • Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, writing and physical presence at the job locations are required to complete job responsibilities.
  • Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
