Fidelity Technologies Corporation is seeking MQ-9 Maintenance Instructors to provide classroom/podium academic instruction. Applicants must have specific skill sets in MQ-9 instruction for either maintenance, technician and/or GCS courseware. Applicants must have completed one the following forms of training: a. Military service Instructor Training Course. b. Instructor training via an academic institution. c. Academic credentialing - Academic institutions ITC should contain at a minimum, these Learning Objectives: Effective communication and questioning techniques, Adult learning theory and principles, Instructional Delivery methods, Lesson delivery performance laboratory, Training environment management, Inter-personal skills, Evaluation and Feedback. d. Completed United States Air Force (USAF) credentialing as 2A3X5C; Remotely Piloted Aircraft Avionics Technician, 2A3X8A; Remotely Piloted Aircraft Mechanic, or X1D7X1Q; GCS Technician. Coupled with verifiable formal instructor certification. e. Show Navy military experience qualified as a Master Training Specialist (MTS) or the equivalent for other services (e.g., Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, etc...) and possess Remotely Piloted Aircraft Mechanic, or X1D7X1Q; GCS Technician instructional experience. Applicants must have knowledge of technical data required to fulfill instructional responsibilities If hired, applicant will have to complete the following practical application requirements for each course, module, section, lesson and or topic prior to certification as an instructor. a. Candidate shall be certified as instructors in their applicable discipline. b. Candidate will be evaluated on an annual basis by an instructor evaluator c. Must be capable of completing an instructor evaluator course conducted by MQ-9 personnel within 30 days of hire Must be capable of attaining and maintaining Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified in accordance with the standards of Red Cross or American Heart Association. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining an active security clearance (SECRET). If hired, you will be required to perform the following tasks 8 hours a day: a. Classroom Course Instruction. Provide instructional methodology needed to conduct training of Navy/Marine Corps personnel to the specified completion criteria identified within course objectives, course master schedule, and course test plan for classes. c. Classroom Responsibilities. Use best practices in classroom preparation, student administration, performance test grading, and safety procedures, to avoid interruptions in the training day and promote a safe and secure environment conducive to learning for courses. d. Verify student attendance. This function in some cases may be managed by the Learning Management System (LMS). f. Academic Standards. Adhere to and maintain academic standards (e.g., course grading criteria) in accordance with assessment standards for contracted course(s). If student(s) have academic problems, Provide academic counseling and a remediation plan to improve student course performance and bring it back to the standard. Academic setback recommendations are to be reported to Course Supervisor to be processed and approved in accordance with regulations. g. Prepare classrooms/workstations/labs prior to commencing instruction to include equipment set-up and operational testing of audiovisual equipment and availability of all required instructional material. h. Perform operational checks of all classroom/workstations/lab training equipment, devices, and aids. i. Maintain an adequate inventory of written instructional materials and student forms required by a particular classroom/seats/lab. j. Administer tests in accordance with the testing plan established by course curriculum. k. Compute and document students' grades at grading period intervals applicable to each program of instruction, and shall utilize the applicable computerized system, if available. c. Administer critiques to students at Government determined intervals, in accordance with relevant Government guidance/instructions. Review student critique sheets and forward all critiques to Course Supervisor/Technical Assistant. d. Provide evaluation input and comments on foreign students for foreign training reports. e. Maintain student records concerning counseling, supplemental assignments, remedial assignments, safety violations, classroom infractions, etc. Any entries which are infractions, or disciplinary in nature shall be coordinated with Course Supervisor/Technical Assistant. f. Remediation. Recommend remediation for students when required. Perform remediation after normal class time. Remediation is required to improve academic performance, reduce attrition, and reduce setbacks. g. Co-Teaching. Military/civil service (Department of Defense) instructors may attend or co-teach a course at any time after coordination with course Supervisor and yourself. h. Curriculum Maintenance. Curriculum Maintenance consists of minor changes in curriculum that will not affect course or terminal objectives, course length or resources. Monitor, review, and provide update recommendations to the Course Supervisor/TA for specific curriculum being instructed. Government is responsible for performing curriculum maintenance. i. Curriculum/Software Deficiencies. Monitor hardware and documentation (including software) changes for impact on training materials, detecting error, or deficiencies in existing training materials. Report all hardware, software and documentation deficiencies to the Curriculum Control Manager (CCM) or other Government Representative as required. Correction of these deficiencies is Government's responsibility. Schedule. Monday through Friday between the hours of 0800-1600 local. Location. Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina This position is a fulltime position and remote work is not authorized. The best candidates will be Senior Non-Commissioned Officers or Staff Non-Commissioned Officers from the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, or Navy with technical experience with the MQ-9 and have held billets as a formal classroom instructor or Master Training Specialist. | |
