Daikin Applied is now hiring for a Communications Intern in Plymouth, MN!

Daikin Applied is a global leader in providing innovative HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Intern to join our dynamic Communications team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of communications within a leading organization. We are looking for someone who has an interest in MarCom tech stack, or using modern technology to increase the effectiveness of communications. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2025

What you will do:



  • Support VP Communications & Branding in creating dynamic, engaging employee and Rep communications and experiences
  • Create and execute all components of a communications plan for an annual charity event with communications to Reps and employees
  • Be the original author for employee and Rep communications rolled out to 1,000+ team members
  • Author a blog to post onDaikinApplied.com
  • Edit, proofread, and prepare layouts for the team's work product
  • Engage in weekly planning meetings with the Communications team
  • Engage with team in project roll-out of Staffbase employee communications platform



Minimum Qualifications:




  • Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office
