Mobile Maintenance Engineer
Shift: 7am - 5pm
Pay: $26.92-36.53

The Mobile Engineer performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents, receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed, performs recurring work independently. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions. The position will also include hands-on repair & maintenance work and or supervision of work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, Generators and associated switchgear, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Fire and Life Safety systems, card access systems, door & gates systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking lots, interior finish systems, lighting systems, and various other R&M tasks associated with operation of a commercial property.

This technician performs at this level one or a combination of such typical duties as:
Constructing components, subunits, or simple models or adapts standard equipment; may troubleshoot and correct malfunctions;
Conducting various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications, selecting, preparing, and operating standard test equipment and records test dns in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement, data;
Extracting and compiling a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc., processing data, identifying errors or inconsistencies, selecting methods of data presentation.
Assisting in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials that are pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts; developing information concerning previous operational failures and modifications and using judgment and initiative to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seek sources to clarify information.
Ensures the safe operation, inspection and maintenance of all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and plumbing equipment, and systems in assigned facilities, to obtain efficient operating results and increase equipment life expectancy.
Performs Preventive, Reactive and Corrective Maintenance for all assigned facility equipment utilizing CMMS systems, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, etc. Utilizes CMMS system for the reporting and tracking of all equipment assets in supported facilities. Utilizes additional company software resources for reporting and tracking equipment operational status, to reduce client equipment "down time" to a minimum.
Works with vendors to maintain technician response times for Urgent and Emergent reactive call outs. After hour emergent/urgent responses may be required.
Oversees vendors in installation, upgrade, and improvement projects for supported facilities.

This position requires the following:
Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems to maintain the properties in peak operational condition
Employee to be subject to and pass a DoD background investigation.
Employee to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance level commensurate with the specific position.
Employee must be a U.S. Citizen
