JLL Securities, an affiliate of Jones Lang LaSalle ("JLL"), is seeking a Summer Analyst for its leading real estate M&A investment banking practice in New York City for Summer 2025. JLL's M&A investment banking team ranks as a top 10 sell-side investment banking platform by volume with over $40 billion of sell-side M&A activity since 2010. The team focuses on a breadth of strategic transactions including mergers & acquisitions (take-privates, mergers of equals, PIPEs), divestitures, restructurings, Special Committee advisory and fairness opinions, entity-level and joint venture capital raising and other investment banking deals. The team's client base includes public/non-traded/private REITs, real estate operating companies and developers, open- and closed-end real estate funds, and other global investment managers and operating companies across all real estate & hospitality sectors.

Job Summary
This internship opportunity represents a rare chance to gain experience in all stages of real estate investment banking - building skills in real estate and corporate finance modeling, marketing and presentation, deal execution, market study and research, due diligence, and other facets of M&A investment banking - alongside a team of investment banking professionals and JLL's broader real estate platform. During the 10-week summer program, Summer Analysts will also have the opportunity to attend Lunch & Learns, team outings and other networking events with the M&A team and broader JLL Capital Markets division. Top-performing, eligible Summer Analysts may be invited to join our team as a full-time Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst after graduation at a projected annual salary of $125,000.

As a Summer Analyst in Capital Markets at JLL, you will:
Undertaking valuation analyses and financial modeling exercises alongside full-time analysts and associates

Assisting deal teams in the preparation of memoranda, presentation materials, and marketing materials

Managing multiple aspects of day-to-day transaction execution

Reviewing and analyzing public company filings, legal documents, internal & third-party data / research and other materials as part of the transaction process

Interacting with clients, investors and broader JLL team members

Program Details
Internship Dates: June 2nd, 2025 - August 8th, 2025
Location: New York, NY | Onsite
Compensation: Hourly with opportunity to earn overtime

Desired Skills and Experience
Current college/university junior or senior, graduating in 2025 or 2026
Corporate finance/accounting and/or real estate experience through college coursework
Demonstrated interest in the real estate sector, M&A transaction activity and global capital markets
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of handling several tasks simultaneously
