What you'll gain:

As an Intern with our aftermarket group, you will gain knowledge and understanding of various operational processes such as inventory management, conducting market and competitive research, enhancing customer satisfaction, evaluating supplier performance, improving processes, and managing data to drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include:

Inventory Analysis and Optimization: Analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and demand forecasts to minimize excess inventory, prevent stockouts, and improve order fulfillment.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market and competitor research to inform product development, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts.

Customer Satisfaction and Feedback Analysis: Gather and assess customer feedback on product quality, availability, and service to identify improvement areas and enhance satisfaction.

Supplier Performance Evaluation: Evaluate supplier performance based on delivery, quality, and cost, developing scorecards to ensure supply chain reliability.

Process Improvement Initiatives: Review and refine service parts management processes to eliminate bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times.

Data Management and Reporting: Organize and analyze sales, inventory, and customer data to create actionable reports and dashboards for better decision-making.

What you need to be successful:

Education:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship

Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Basic project management or organizational skills.

Personal Attributes:

Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Availability:

Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12 weeks for a summer internship

Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered
