Job Summary

Working under supervision of the E-Commerce Manager, the E-Commerce Coordinator supports day-to-day operations of the Getty e-commerce retail and wholesale websites.



Major Job Responsibilities

    Provide support for Getty's two e-commerce sites: direct retail and wholesale
  • Oversee third-party fulfillment by maintaining inventory levels and product assortments
  • Assist with day-to-day site maintenance and content changes
  • Coordinate project list for all e-commerce development projects
  • Coordinate workflow by setting schedules and priorities for projects
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Support website metric analysis by running reports for manager as necessary
  • Generate daily and monthly sales reports
  • Responsible for new product creation and ensuring accuracy of all product information on the sites
  • Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy for online location
  • Assist in gathering new product information from buyers
  • Coordinate product photography
  • Assist in the development and merchandise strategy for the online store
  • Provide expertise and direction for the web fulfillment team on a daily basis as needed, including instructions for orders that require special handling and assisting with fulfillment as needed
  • As the primary customer contact for online-related inquiries, demonstrate excellent customer service skills via phone and e-mail
  • Provide support and follow-up for orders with risk assessment
  • Maintain a calendar of e-blasts and other tools to routinely perpetuate and grow business
  • Will be cross-trained in other areas of retail operations
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays


Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-4 years related experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • An ideal candidate will have project management experience with a solid background in the planning, prioritization, and execution of online projects
  • Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with supervision
  • Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • E-commerce experience in a non-profit environment (especially a museum setting) is preferred
  • Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with staff, the public, and others outside the organization
  • Demonstrate creativity in merchandising and marketing the online store
  • Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software (Word & Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and experience creating basic web graphics such as banners is preferred
  • Experience with digital photography and product photography is preferred
