Position Description
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions |
The Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a part-time faculty appointment to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
The candidate must be able to provide instruction at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Potential courses taught would include:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Business Analytics
- Management & Human Resources
- Marketing
- International Business
- Sport Management
- Sport Analytics
- Entrepreneurship
- Other related courses.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's Degree in area of teaching plus depth and breadth of work experience in both level and duration.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Doctoral degree in area of teaching.
- Instructional experiences at the college level in field of teaching.
- Work experience in related disciplines and field of teaching.
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Schedule is dependent on department needs. Must be available to teach evenings. |
Hiring Range |
$10,200 per course. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
