Senior Compliance Analyst, Multi Family Lending

The JLL Real Estate Capital, LLC Compliance team serves as the second line of defense against operational, financial and reputational risk for the platform. The Senior Analyst will ensure controls are in place for continued compliance with all Agency, lender and regulatory requirements. The Senior Analyst must be able to identify and understand CRE risk to implement controls, test procedures, and actively work to prevent and mitigate issues.

The Senior Analyst will provide support for the following initiatives:
Internal and External Audit
JLL REC Policy & Procedure Management
JLL REC Licensing
Agency and Lender reporting
Vendor management
Control & Risk environment

The Senior Analyst must possess basic knowledge of commercial real estate, as they will work in collaboration with teams across the platform to ensure consistent compliance with all industry requirements. The Senior Analyst must demonstrate attention to detail, organization, analytical orientation, and possess the initiative to work in an independent and reliable manner.

Essential Functions:
Act as a primary auditor for JLL REC internal audit. Conduct testing across all platforms and functions in accordance with audit policy.
Assist in document compilation for external audit. Conduct an initial review to identify any potential findings before submission to third-party
Write internal policy and procedure documents, and work with department managers to keep controls efficient and updated.
Interpret agency, lender & regulatory compliance requirements to develop and strengthen internal controls & policies
Vendor management
Grant and modify system access permissions for all JLL REC employees
Monitor and manage the Compliance mailbox
Other tasks as deemed necessary

Qualifications Required:
Undergraduate degree preferred with a minimum of 3-5+ years in Real Estate Compliance, Audit, Commercial Real Estate Servicing or equivalent work experience
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong writing skills
Strong time management skills and ability to operate under demanding deadlines
Ability to recognize risk
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to audit own work
Ability to work independently and in teams
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Familiarity and knowledge of commercial real estate loan documents & requirements
