Description: IS4S is looking to hire interns and/or co-op students to support a variety of government-funded projects related to open architecture, open systems, autonomy, and navigation technology. In particular, we are looking for candidates who are self-starters, teachable, and able to learn new things as they work together with others to solve challenging technical problems. We are especially focused on developing modular open systems that enable rapid prototyping and deployment of real-world systems. These openings are in our office in Dayton, OH. Job Role(s): Add features/capabilities to existing software toolkit Help improve user experience of software toolkit Participate in navigation sensor data collections to test on software and algorithms Collaborate with a team to implement alternative navigation algorithms Required Experience: Moderate to strong proficiency in any of the following: Software development (any language) Embedded systems Kalman filtering or other estimation approaches Systems administration Signal processing Timing or networking systems Artificial intelligence/machine learning Flight testing Avionics system development U.S. Citizens Only
