Ryerson has an opportunity for a Sr. Cost Accountant position. As a Sr. Cost Accountant, you will have heavy involvement in the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, conducting research, and leading projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Heavy involvement in the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations emphasizing cost accounting
* Analyze and correct product cost and price margin issues
* Monitor average cost variances
* Analyze and correct inventory valuations
* Assist plants in researching and resolving financial issues
* Assist in internal management reporting and analysis

Position Requirements:


* Bachelors degree in accounting, CPA preferred
* Five (5) years of monthly financial close and inventory accounting experience
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Working knowledge of SAP a plus
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Detailed orientated
