We are currently seeking anOperating Engineerto support our client in Richmond, VA. The Operating Engineer will complement our already established team, apply today!
Some of what you will do: Perform maintenance and repairs of Pumps, Motors, Plumbing and HVAC Equipment Troubleshoot improperly working building equipment Operate all building systems and infrastructure within the facilities including fire/life safety, absorber operations, chiller and associated steam-related equipment, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) lighting and temperature control systems, light construction (painting, doors, locks) Review and recommend changes to preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures. Identify safety hazards within the building Complete all safety and related training per month. Maintain licenses and certifications. Responsible for alerting management of building discrepancies. Responsible for ensuring that JLL maintenance projects performed at the building are properly planned, executed, and closed out per standard industry practices. Responsible for overseeing the activities of contractors working within the building either as representatives of the building itself or tenants operating within the buildings. Responsible for keeping records of building rounds and readings, all engineering logs, and engineering data sheets. Performs additional job duties as requested. Who we are looking for: Required 3+ years of building maintenance experience Preferred A journeyman license Completion of trade school Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with an on-call rotation every 14 weeks for one week at a time.
