The Critical Environment Chief Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the JLL Critical Environments Program is properly implemented and maintained at all client designated Critical Facilities located in their region. The position will require a strong administrative and Data Center facilities support background in developing facilities operating procedures, personnel and vendor management, facilities change control administration, and training programs. Additionally, this individual will need to be able to interface with project management teams to ensure that the client's critical facility requirements are maintained when infrastructure projects are being performed at new and existing facilities.

Task will include but not be limited to:

Develop and administer critical site processes such as; operation flow charting, reporting root cause analysis of system failures; emergency response drills as related to life safety or critical system failures, compliance with site audits, critical parts inventories, preventive maintenance program and status reporting to management.
Develop, implement, and train on the associated EOP's and SOP's for all Critical Infrastructure
Maintain schedules of Preventative Maintenance on Critical Equipment
Oversee Change Management Program. Ensure all low to high-risk tasks are properly entered into Change Management System and have been approved prior to work taking place.
Participate in project development and design meetings associated with new and existing facilities with critical infrastructure.
Tracking electrical/mechanical loads.
Develop loading and operations status reporting for client representatives
Develop rounds and inspection program on Critical Systems
Attend seminars related to critical systems reliability and implement recommended process improvements
Coordinate all vendor scheduled tasks and communicate task schedule to all parties concerned.
Track all incident reports and communicate to business units
Review and investigate incidents which occur in critical environments. Conduct post problem reviews which diagnose root cause analysis for each incident
Must interface with other regional Facilities Operations and business unit managers as appropriate to coordinate Critical Area Program. This will include but not be limited to; scheduling maintenance windows in Change Management, participating in staff meetings, interfacing with key vendors and project management personnel, and keeping up with written communications within the Critical Environment Team.
Responsible for managing the day to day team operations within critical environments and perform maintenance and monitoring repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, control, and fire, life and safety systems to keep building systems up to applicable standard with the objectives of safely and effectively operating all machinery and systems.
Ensure compliance with JLL minimum audit standards

Qualifications
Education - Should have electrical, mechanical, or controls trade related background with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. Strong electrical/mechanical background is required.
Software Skills - Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio programs.
Personal Characteristics - Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both verbal and written reports. Must be both reliable, able to meet critical deadlines and meticulous in report data. An excellent organizational skill is essential.
