Material Handler

1st shift Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, OT and Weekends as needed

Pay Starts at $17 - $19./hr. and can go up based upon experience!

Onsite at Ivyland, Pennsylvania (201 Ivyland Rd. Warminster, PA 18974)

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our Material Handler team. This role will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing facility's smooth and efficient operation by managing the flow of materials, components, and supplies within a manufacturing facility. A Material Handler works with a team to ensure timely receiving, storing, and distributing materials and maintaining accurate inventory records while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, a team player, a great communicator, and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities:
* Transfer incoming parts from Receiving to the warehouse and assembly lines
* Relocate parts from one department to another
* Maintain effective communication with various departments, including Production, Procurement, and Quality Control, to ensure the availability of materials as needed
* Assist the support process improvement activities through active participation in continuous improvement
* Load, unload and move materials throughout the plant using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required
* Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring they are appropriately labelled and easily accessible
* Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED), required
* Entry Level in Material Handling or manufacturing environment, preferred
* Lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift
* Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses
* General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)
