The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking all food items according to menus and expediting orders quickly and correctly. The Cook is also responsible for ensuring all stations are set to standards and following instructions from the Chefs. Prior experience as a cook or in food service is preferable.

What we are looking for:

  • The Cook will follow instructions of Chef and Sous Chef.
  • Have the ability to read orders from the point of sales system.
  • Possess knowledge of cooking techniques for seafood stocks, grilling, sauteing, and deep frying, as well as cold food prep.
  • Possess knowledge of basic prep functions- i.e. cleaning greens, prepping vegetables and cutting skills for all fresh produce and fruit.
  • Be able to cut, dice, julienne, brunoises, med dice, large dice, and slice fresh fruit and produce.
  • Have knowledge of equipment and food.
  • Have knowledge of proper cooking procedures.
  • Have knowledge of proper knife handling and techniques.
  • Understand all prep duties, how to run line if needed, and work middle station during busy times.

For each position, we require at least two positive verifiable references, a stable work history verified by a background check, a positive attitude, and willingness to be a team player.

  • This position requires the ability to work weekends and holidays.
