JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective Dignitas is seeking a Training Specialist AC&R. This position will support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions' to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. We are looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering, technical, logistics, and obsolescence support to U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army, and Foreign Military Sales ships and vessels related to the following systems and equipment: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (AC&R) systems for U.S. Navy submarines - both in-service and new construction. and equipment support. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities but can occasionally be expected to direct and assist junior engineers and interns. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering Ten (10) years of experience in Steam and Auxiliary systems including mechanical/electrical system design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance and testing with an understanding of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (AC&R) mechanical systems Additional Eligibility Qualifications Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Must be a US Citizen AAP/EEO Statement Dignitas Technologies, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
