JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Established in 2018, The Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology (CoEIB) works across Penn State to provide educational experiences designed to prepare company representatives, undergraduate and graduate students to contribute to the dynamic field of biotechnology. We are looking for a talented and energetic person to become a part-time member of The Center's team. This position provides the opportunity to craft the Center's branding, establish communication strategies, implement internal and external outreach programs and other Center activities. Working closely with the Center's Associate Director, use personal initiative to identify opportunities to expand or enhance the Center's impact. Excellent writing and communication skills are a must, along with experience in website and social media management. A background in graphic design, photography, and/or video production is also a plus. What excites us about a candidate is: knowledge of integrated marketing communications and best practices and emerging trends; experience in editorial, digital and print marketing; and the ability to thrive in The Center with an immediate goal of accelerating and growing our campus presence.
