Mobile HVAC Maintenance Technician

This role involves maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and other building components in a mobile capacity.

Primary Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain HVAC equipment (cooling towers, boilers, pumps, RTUs, air handlers, etc.)
Perform repairs on plumbing, drywall, masonry, asphalt, gates, and HVAC systems
Provide 24/7 on-call support, including during storms
Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)
Assist Facilities Manager and Chief Engineer with projects and daily requests
Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on facility systems, equipment, and components
Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts
Respond to emergencies effectively
Perform regular rounds and report deficiencies to Chief Engineer
Comply with safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping
Identify and propose solutions for safety hazards
Ensure compliance with state, county, and city ordinances, codes, and laws
Support after-hours building activities as required
Attend periodic training seminars
Work Environment:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Capable of working outdoors in diverse weather conditions
Reporting Structure:
Reports to Chief Engineer
Required Qualifications:
Universal EPA 608 Certification
Minimum 4 years of technical experience in building engineering, with strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance
Valid state driver's license
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders
Willingness to perform on-call duties and overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system design and application
Experience with work order management and CMMS technology
Previous facilities service role experience
Carpentry skills
