Cloud Architect

We have an immediate opening for a Cloud Architect. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic problem-solvers with an interest in capital markets data to join us as we continue providing technology innovation and support to the world's leading global capital markets companies. Global capital markets are an ocean of fast-moving, interrelated, and complex data.We are building the next generation of capital markets data technology.

Current strategic pursuits

The Cloud Architect will research, plan, and collaborate with our development and infrastructure teams to implement the integration of our production systems and its related tools / systems as we seek to harmonize our processes across the organization.This will include meticulous planning, documentation, testing and will necessitate a deep understanding of our interconnected systems. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering solutions and will at times interface directly with our clients, including a prominent US government agency.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen eligible for US Government security clearance

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant professional experience

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent discipline

• Expertise with AWS, Terraform and Docker

• Strong knowledge of Linux

• Significant experience with Python

• Ability to profile and debug systems in real time

Nice to haves

• Knowledge and experience in Ansible, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence and CloudFormation

• Prior experience with M&A and complex large-scale migrations

• Experience with authentication and encryption technologies like TLS, Kerberos and GSSAPI

• Networking experience, analyzing packet dumps, multicast routing on hosts, packet filtering

• OS/kernel experience such as familiarity with OS tunables, log analysis

• Experience with DataDog, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana and InfluxDB
