City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift Rotating Provider Specialty Hospital Medicine (Hospitalist) Overview: Sentara Medical Group is seeking a full-time Acute Care NP/PA to join the Hospital Medicine Team at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, a 273-bed facility and Level III Trauma Center. Our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are essential to this foundation, and we seek to continue to grow their impact and scope of practice throughout our hospitals. Position Highlights: Admitter/Swing shift: M-F; 2:30-11p APP will be partnered with an admitting physician on a swing shift and overlapping with the nocturnist MD & APP who start between 7-9p Join an established team of 21 MD's and 6 APPs that not only collaborate seamlessly with one another but have an excellent working relationship with specialists and other resources in and out of the hospital.
