Under general supervision and within the Environmental Promotion Office, the Regulatory Policy Analyst II will monitor, develop and execution of advocacy and policy initiatives. You will collaborate across affected departments, including product management, engineering, sales EH&S, and across business with Daikin US, Daikin North America and Daikin Industries Ltd. The candidate must have good communication skills and will represent Daikin interests with federal and state regulatory agencies and similar outside organizations. Location: Remote, Plymouth, MN

What you will do:



  • Develop and coordinate positions on proposed standards, codes, and regulations through presentations, bulletins and other media
  • Compose comment letters and position statements
  • With general guidance - propose and execute research plans to study regulatory impacts on products and product strategy
  • Review and summarize technical and industry reports, regulatory forums and industry conferences for products, pricing, capability
  • Prepare presentation material for executive leadership
  • Represent Daikin Applied and participate as a member or voting member as part of industry association committees (ASHRAE or AHRI or ISO) or and safety agency standards (Ex. UL, ETL, ASME)
  • Supports internal stakeholders with environmental initiatives
  • Supports internal group tools and methods
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:



  • 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related discipline
  • Ability to problem solve within regulatory and technical concepts
