Sr. Engineer, Acoustics Program

What this job involves - The Sr. Engineer, Acoustics Program will be a program manager and subject matter expert as it relates to acoustics assessments and design as it relates to noise criterion and other programs.
Interacting with clients providing professional solutions and expanding business opportunities
Modeling, testing, reporting, and training other staff
Guide less experienced staff in their technical work
Working on projects including office buildings, laboratory buildings, motor control centers and substations, RF/IDF rooms, and more
Review and analysis of architectural and engineering designs for new buildings and renovations
Assessment of acoustical problems in existing buildings
Calculations and measurements related to building MEP system noise and vibration control, sound isolation, and room acoustics
Report Writing
Attending meetings
Site client visits, RFI responses, and submittal reviews during construction administration
Ensure innovation, best practices, playbooks, and standards are implemented globally. Create a Playbook for Asset Management for the account
Understand KPIs per region and drive optimal tracking and performance related to technical services.
Develop and implement SOPs for entering, analyzing and retrieving CMMS (Corrigo) data
Create best practices related to remediation strategies and facility operations.
Develop or integrate assessment tools to evaluate performance and condition of assets
Stay up-to-date on industry trends
Provide expertise for operations teams to understand data insights and analytics: identify trends, failures, and optimize schedules.
Manage KPIs, program improvement, and data analytics
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through learning, hosting events, and coaching staff.
Assemble a qualified on-account team and use available resources to triage situations as they arise, such as RCA for equipment failures.
No direct reports, manage a cross-functional team [FM, Projects, Technical Services]
Travel: 25% - 50% within the Bay Area
Expected to be in the client office minimum 3 days a week

Qualifications
Strong analytical abilities and proficient technical writing skills
Good understanding of building mechanical systems
Comfortable and confident in meetings
Experience making sound and vibration measurements
Experience with software including Soundplan, EASE, INSUL, Labview, Excel, NTi Audio Data Explorer, and Price All-In-One or similar
BSE from ABET accredited engineering program, P.E. preferred
10 years of experience performing similar work at an acoustical consulting firm
Experience working in San Francisco and Bay market
