Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Sr M&A Business Analyst. The Sr. M&A Business Analyst will work directly with business leaders, business users, and IT teammates to plan, define, design, specify, test, train, implement, and support manufacturing related business processes and systems. Under intermittent supervision, this person works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. You will exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. What you will do:



  • Provide subject matter expertise to the M&A team for I.T. related acquisition and integration activities
  • Analyzes and interprets information collected during due diligence process in order to identify potential risks, concerns or synergies with the potential acquisition
  • In collaboration with I.T. leadership develops, documents and maintains a post merger integration (PMI) strategy for I.T.
  • In collaboration with I.T. leadership develops PMI budgetary numbers and planning assumptions
  • Collaborates with the business and I.T. to define PMI roadmap / plan for each acquisition that is pursued by the business
  • Collaborates with acquisition partners to execute PMI activities in order to facilitate a smooth transition
  • Develop and execute routine check-in process with acquisition partners to evaluate and advance PMI activities
  • Acts as liaison to our acquisition partners when DAA assistance is required (primary point of contact to ensure requests are assigned to appropriate DAA team for resolution)
  • Responsible for leading, as well as, participating in cross-functional PMI activities
  • Responsible to evaluate and communicate I.T. policy changes to acquisition partners where applicable
  • Drive continuous process improvement and team development opportunities as the I.T. M&A subject matter expert
  • May perform other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, IT Business analysis, or a similar field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 4+ years of experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, IT Business analysis, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
