Responsible for monitoring and responding to incoming client service tickets, performs research, analysis, processing and quality checking of customer benefit and loan requests. Resolves complex issues and identifies underlying causes to prevent reoccurrences. Submits recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements. Responsible for training Benefit and Loan Specialists, researching and processing client requests, along with achieving corporate goals and minimizing gain/loss. Assists with monitoring daily workload.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and load balance incoming daily participant transaction requests and SR tickets.
  • Prioritize and complete all applicable processing in accordance with departmental, corporate, IRS, Department of Labor, FINRA and SEC regulations and requirements.
  • Monitor control reports and gain/loss, including corrections, and reconciliation.
  • Analyze work to ensure completeness, quality and prompt resolution to meet departmental time standards on a daily basis.
  • Research/resolve unique, complex and escalated account problems.
  • Mentor and perform on the job training for Sr Specialists Quality Control, Sr Specialists and Specialists.
  • Communicate with internal and external clients both written and verbal by delivering clear, respectful communications across audiences Identifies and participates in implementing improvements to processes.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and personal accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field.
  • FINRA fingerprinting required.
  • Previous Sr Specialist Quality Control experience or 1-2 years in a similarly related position.
  • Strong technical, product and system knowledge.
  • Is subject matter expert on benefit or loan process, SR tickets, and reporting, in addition to the knowledge requirements of the Sr. Specialist Quality Control.
  • Demonstrates advanced decision making and analytical skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have analytical ability for in-depth research.
  • In addition to the skills requirements of the Sr Specialist Quality Control.

  • May sit for long periods of time.
  • May stand, stoop, reach, pull and push on occasion.
  • This position frequently requires periodic and mandatory (usually unscheduled) overtime Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigns tasks.
  • Performs review of data and activity to prevent risk of loss due to errors.
  • Plan Administrators, Account Managers, Departmental Management, Systems, Client Service, Project Management, Senior Management, Client Service, Implementation, Marketing etc.

Base Salary Range

$55,600.00 - $76,450.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
