The Opportunity

Join Adobe as a Machine Learning Engineer on the Evaluation Automation team in the Bay Area, CA. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment helping the organization to quickly scale and develop complex tools to optimize customer experiences.

The candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with data scientists and software engineers, developing innovative evaluation tools and standard methodologies for the organization.

Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background as well as technical skills including applied statistics, machine learning, and software development. Familiarity with working with large-scale datasets and big data techniques would be a plus.

What You'll Do

* Develop predictive models on large-scale datasets to address various business problems with advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques.

* Develop and implement scalable and efficient modeling algorithms that can work with large-scale data in production systems.

* Collaborate with product management and engineering groups to develop new products and features.

What You Need to Succeed

* PhD or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Operations Research, Econometrics or equivalent experience required.

* 0-2+ years of experience in specific skill/field(s).

* Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, or data analytics concepts, and a track record of solving problems with these methods.

* Proficient in Python, with experience using the Pandas library.

* Experience with Git.

* Knowledge and experience of working with relational databases and SQL.

* Highly self-motivated and diligent with an ability to learn quickly.

* Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.

* Excellent communication and relationship skills, and a great teammate.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $97,700 -- $195,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
