Position title: Non-Operative Orthopaedic Surgeon Salary range:
The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $118,000- $285,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, DO or MD/PhD in health-related fields. Candidates with an MD or equivalent with clinical duties must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Candidates with an MD or equivalent with clinical duties must be board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery. Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited residency training program in Orthopaedic Surgery. Additional qualifications

Candidates must have completed a fellowship program in Orthopaedic Surgery by the time of start of the appointment. Preferred qualifications
Candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in non-operative musculoskeletal care are preferred. Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a multi-specialty team setting are preferred. Candidates with a record of scholarly activity are preferred.
