As the Manufacturing Supervisor (2nd Shift-3:30pm-2:00am), you will lead and optimize production activities within your designated area. You will drive team performance, implement Lean manufacturing principles, and actively contribute to production efficiency. Your focus will be on achieving production targets while maintaining high-quality standards through effective performance management.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

* Leadership: Supervise a team of leads and employees to meet production goals.
* Human Resources: Develop and maintain a productive workforce through recruitment, training, and motivation.
* Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and take disciplinary action when necessary.
* Workplace Environment: Maintain a fair, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
* Administrative Tasks: Track attendance, approve time off, review timecards, and answer and compose emails related to administrative matters.
* Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce production and quality standards, ensure safety compliance, and continuously improve productivity.

Show your expertise

* Min 5 years of proven experience in production scheduling and team leadership.
* Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing, continuous flow, and continuous quality improvement (CQI).
* Demonstrated ability to provide effective performance feedback and coaching.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to interpret production schedules and work orders.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others and to engage employees in decision-making
* Experience in a high-volume production environment required.

Physical Requirements
* Standing and walking are a necessary part of the job
* Occasionally lifting (up to 50 lbs. unassisted)

What can you expect
The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
