We are looking for Software Engineer IIs to help drive innovation and excellence. As an engineer on the team, you will improve services by leveraging some of the latest innovations in Microsoft software and Azure hardware. This is a dynamic role that involves both technical expertise and collaborative skills to contribute to the modernization and enhancement of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint's cloud services.
ResponsibilitiesTaking on challenges of working with well-established, large-scale systems to optimize services to improve scalability and reduce operating cost Partnering with experts across geographic and organizational boundaries to make impactful changes to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Adhering to modern engineering principles and practices, code reviews, and project management Engagement in project planning, work prioritization, and contribute to the project's roadmap and goals including reviewing and executing work items Participating in governance activities, manage technical tasks, and ensure quality assurance through automated testing and integration validation Sharing knowledge through mentorship and regular team interactions Building functional and technical documentation, write unit and integration tests, and update Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD) pipelines | |
