In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world.Microsoft Entra is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help tackle some of our most complex problems - our Routing team, of which you would be a part, is charged to increase availability of mission-critical services, building better software to serve over 1B humans globally. Are you passionate about distributed systems, and how to build and run them at extreme scale? Are you curious, a learner, someone who wants to grow in the craft of software engineering? You will work on some lynchpin services in Microsoft Entra, e.g. traffic management, runtime platform (K8s) or livesite management. These services process millions of requests per second, powering hundreds of billions of authentications per day, and with challenging availability targets (>99.99%). ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of the team shipping critical software quickly and safely. This is a hands-on role, you will need to be a team player, equally comfortable designing the better mousetrap, and rolling up your sleeves to ship the new mousetrap from whiteboard into productionLead and provide technical direction for the design and development of features, experiences & solutions for end-to-end business scenarios Mentor early in career team members professionally to help realize their full potential Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to build new featuresSupport highly available services used by millions of userson a daily basisWork with support to triage and debug technical support requests Analyze how your features are performing in production to learn and make the product betterMentor, pair, participate in code reviews, and delegate work to encourage the professional and technical growth of those around you | |
