CLINICAL APPLICATIONS TRAINER

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for assisting in the development , maintenance, delivery and upgrade of clinical applications end user training programs. Has knowledge of designated Epic applications and able to prepare technical training curriculum in the application training environment. Involved in a team approach to ensure end user application training includes relevant scenarios and workflows providing an effective learning experience for the end user. Comfortable adapting to a variety of learning styles and presentation mediums. Skillful using technology and clinical applications. Maintains appropriate credentials and continues to grow as a trainer,subject matter expert and curriculum designer.

Job Requirements:

Associate's Degree
Credentialed as EPIC trainer within 6 months of hire
Knowledge of Epic applications, personal computer applications, adult learning principals, change management 2-3 years experience Professional Healthcare

Job Responsibilities:

Participates in the development of training materials for end users. Supports the build process for the master training environment. Incorporates appropriate scenarios and workflows into training programs. Continues to develop instructional design knowledge and skill. Has an aptitude for presentation and style.
Demonstrates exceptional classroom facilitation skills and incorporates adult learning principals into training delivery. Creates a safe and effective environment of learning for end users. Training is adaptable and responsive to change. Incorporates innovation and creativity into training delivery as appropriate.
Remains expert and up to date in clinical applications functions, workflows and requirements. Translates this knowledge and skill to a relevant and effective end user training experience. Application credentials are achieved and maintained as indicated.
Supports the evaluation of training delivery and outcomes. Initiates activities to improve quality and services in response to evaluation feedback.
Demonstrates flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments. Adjusts schedule as indicated to meet end user training needs. Utilizes time wisely and efficiently.
Demonstrates ongoing professional growth as a team member and individual contributor.
